Cosy Campervans is a family-run, VW camper van hire company based in Fobbing, Essex. Our focus isn't about building an ever-expanding business with hundreds of vans, we want to keep that personal touch and make you feel that when you hire one of our vans, you're going on an adventure with an old friend who you'll feel comfortable spending time with. And of course, the most important thing is, you have to feel cosy!

Meet our Vans
Because we like to keep our vans in tip-top condition, we only have Rosie available for hire at the moment, Daisy is currently in for a full service and upgrade.
Rosie is a stunning T5 camper with a host of handy extras to make your experience with her that much more enjoyable. And with a powerful 2000cc engine she's well equipped to power up hills and climbs.
Daisy
Daisy is a great little van to take on all kinds of adventures, whether it's a long trip up to the lake district, or some more copy about her, she really is a cracking little camper.

What to pack...
If it's your first time hiring with us (or hiring with anyone) you're probably quite keen to know what equipment is already in the van for you so that you don't have to bring the kitchen sink. The lists below will give you an idea of what you'll find inside and what might be quite useful to bring with you. And for the record, the kitchen sink is one thing you can definitely leave at home, we've got that covered.

Obviously, there will be certain home comforts that you'll want to bring yourselves - and that's totally cool - just remember that it's a camper van, not the Tardis so try to keep your stuff down to the bare essentials. Here are some ideas...

We'd love to be able to let you take our campers away on an adventure for free, but that would mean we couldn't keep them in tip-top condition (and our business account manager would get a bit hot under the collar too) so unfortunately we have to ask you to part with some of your hard-earned cash. Here's how we break it down...
We have two hiring seasons...
LOW SEASON
OCTOBER to APRIL
A time of year when those jumpers that your great aunt knitted you for Christmas sometimes get to see some action. Not much ice cream is eaten during low season.
3 DAY HIRING
FRIDAY - MONDAY

7 DAY HIRING
FRIDAY - FRIDAY

HIGH SEASON
MAY to SEPTEMBER
A very popular time of year for hiring, the days are longer, the nights are still dark. Jumpers are swapped for speedos (eeew) and there is ice cream everywhere.
3 DAY HIRING
FRIDAY - MONDAY

* BANK HOLIDAYS These are usually in high demand and are charged at £550 per weekend.
Collect & Return Times
Collect:
Fridays between 1:00pm and 3:00pm
Rock up between these times all excited and giggly and get ready to let the good times roll.
So that we can keep our vans clean and cosy, we need time to prepare them for the next customer, so there are set times when you can collect and return your camper.
Return:
Fridays between 9:00am and 11:00am
We know you don't want to, but we'll need your van back in the yard between these times so that we can get it ready for the next journey.**
** If your van hasn't been booked for the next hire period, then a late return option might be possible, so the fun can continue for a little bit longer. That's pretty cool isn't it?

Hmmm, that can happen sometimes, especially during the busy high season. If there isn't a Cosy Camper Van available for the dates you need, we might be able to sort something out for you, our vans have friends!

We'd love to be here 24/7, but we have to do other stuff like bath the kids, take the rubbish out and feed the cat, so below is when you will see our faces

Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 15:00
Sunday: Closed (usually cooking a roast or having a BBQ)
Bank holidays: Closed (wondering where banks go for their holiday)
Where are we?
We are situated close to the A13 and a 20 minute drive from the M25. We are also close to Pitsea and Basildon mainline train stations on the C2C Rail Network.
